While we're in alpha state

We're a little bit stalled here currently. Like in pre-alpha :-)

So for those who are looking urgently I found a nice article about other online time tracking systems. It's here: http://mashable.com/2008/08/28/time-tracking-tools/

OTS-Con I results

OTS-Con I was a great success. We met in the Australian bar next to Kilian's pub. We reviewed our technical and business models and agreed to a final database schema.
Next task will be to setup a development env on a root-server, create the database and start the OTS-server.
Another group committed to design the basic access API and some client implementations. Look forward to find some photographs here soon :-)

Calling OTS-Con I

This is a call for OTS-Con I (the OpenTimeSheet Conference 1). I propose to meet with the core team for a kick-off.
Any suggestion for dates and locations?

My pref would be somewhere around Heimeranplatz about 20:00 on Mo. - Fr.

Starting opentimesheet

Last 14 years as freelancer I was using a horrible number of time capturing systems. Actually I am using about three at a time now. There are so many of them, and most companies invent their own - starting with excel.
Time for a break
There's nothing special about such a system. At least it should be able to make me capture my time once, store it and provide some interfaces to other (legacy) systems. There must be import and export interfaces, it should support several of the current technologies like http, xml-rpc ... and it should have a web interface when it starts.
